European Academy recently delivered an in-depth, two-day in-house training course on the “Management and Coordination of EC Funded Projects; The PM² Methodology”. This interactive course was hosted at the Warwick Brussels Hotel from September 19 to 20, 2023.
The training was exclusively tailored for the Regional School of Public Administration in Montenegro and witnessed an enthusiastic gathering of representatives from the Budget Committee spanning across several Western Balkan countries including Bosnia, Albania, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.
The sessions were structured to provide a comprehensive understanding of the PM² methodology, particularly its application in the context of EC-funded projects. The Day 1 agenda was packed with sessions ranging from an overview of project management methodologies to the intricacies of planning a project. Similarly, Day 2 offered insights into the execution, monitoring, and achieving impact in projects, concluding with discussions about resources for certification.
One of the highlights of the event was an engaging discourse on how the PM² methodology can be effectively employed to elevate public administration work and services in the Western Balkan nations. Dr. Danijela Ciric Lalic, an expert in the field, led the training, ensuring a thorough dissemination of knowledge, bolstered by interactive discussions and Q&A sessions.
By the end of the training, attendees were equipped with an enhanced understanding of the PM² methodology, its governance model, life cycle, and tangible ways to implement it for improved project outcomes. The event further served as a platform for strengthening collaborative ties between Western Balkan countries, spotlighting the importance of shared learning and progress.
European Academy remains committed to its mission of fostering learning and facilitating the sharing of best practices across regions.
