European Academy successfully delivered another online course on “Impact of EC Funded Research” on the 11th and 12th of December 2023. This virtual training session drew a diverse group of participants, creating a dynamic and engaging learning atmosphere tailored to the unique backgrounds and interests of those involved.
The course was expertly facilitated by a leading consultant in Dissemination, Communication, and Science Education, who reported high levels of active participation and was impressed by the overall progress of the attendees. Participants came from various fields, including natural sciences, academia, and professionals from corporate innovation sectors involved in managing collaborative projects. This mix enriched the course, sparking vibrant discussions and providing a personalized learning journey for each participant.
A standout feature of the training was the in-depth focus on Communication, Dissemination & Exploitation Plans (CDEPs). The eagerness of attendees to acquire actionable insights was met with a comprehensive showcase of exemplary CDEPs from past projects on the first day. The course detailed the crafting of effective strategies for these plans, applicable both during the proposal phase and after securing project funding. The discussions on formulating and scoring the CDEP, as well as crafting the “Impact” section in project proposals, were particularly stimulating and garnered much interest. Participants benefited from the instructor’s expert guidance on writing techniques, structural elements, and strategies for securing high-impact scores.
