Bringing together professionals from Spain, Turkey, Serbia, Poland, and Kazakhstan, European Academy’s online course Impact of E.C. Funded Research fostered a dynamic learning environment over two engaging days in November 2024. Delivered via Zoom, the training focused on equipping participants with the strategies needed to amplify the visibility and reach of their EU-funded research projects.
Designed for researchers, project coordinators, and communication professionals, the course emphasized crafting strong Dissemination, Communication & Exploitation Plans (DCEPs) to meet European Commission standards. Through expert-led sessions and interactive workshops, participants gained actionable insights to enhance the “Impact” section of Horizon Europe proposals.
Collaborative Learning and Practical Solutions
One of the standout moments was a hands-on workshop where attendees collaborated on real-world case studies, tackling questions like, “How can we effectively communicate research outcomes to non-academic audiences?” The course also delved into strategies for leveraging digital tools, managing open-access requirements, and developing tailored communication plans to engage diverse stakeholders.
By the end of the training, participants were equipped with the tools and confidence to create impactful research proposals and dissemination strategies aligned with EU expectations.
