European Academy has been invited to deliver a tailor-made course to Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). BSC is Spain’s national supercomputing center, which specializes in high performance computing and aims to promote HPC across Europe as a crucial tool for international competitiveness in science and engineering. The course lasted two days, from 14 to 15 of January 2019 and was held at the premises of the institute in Barcelona. It was attended by 20 employees of the center, who work in key roles related to project management. The course developed on European Commission’s PM² Project Management Methodology and, focusing mainly on its application to Horizon 2020 projects, had a practical approach for the numerous research projects of the BSC.
