Kick-Off Meeting for ESG4PMChange Project: A Transformative Step Towards Sustainable Project Management

European Academy proudly participated in the kick-off meeting for the groundbreaking ESG4PMChange project, hosted by the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad. This meeting marked the official launch of an ambitious initiative to integrate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into project management education and training, addressing the growing demand for sustainability-focused competencies in the workforce.

About ESG4PMChange

The ESG4PMChange project represents a collaborative effort among Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), Vocational Education and Training (VET) providers, PM² Alliance, and business actors. This initiative pioneers innovative approaches, including the development of standardized professional profiles, competency frameworks, Living Labs, and a micro-credential framework, to empower the next generation of project management professionals with critical ESG skills.

Key objectives include:

  • Conducting an education gap analysis to align current offerings with labor market needs.
  • Designing an ESG-focused curriculum and competency framework.
  • Launching a digital resource hub with MOOCs and OER to make ESG project management knowledge widely accessible.
  • Establishing a structured micro-credential framework for professional recognition.
